ΑΓΡΑΜΠΕΛΗ
Η ονομασία Αγραμπέλης προέρχεται από τη λαϊκή ονομασία του φυτού «αγριόκλημα», που φύτρωνε άφθονο στην ελληνική ύπαιθρο. Πρόκειται για αναρριχώμενο φυτό με έντονη παρουσία σε αγρούς, φράχτες και παλιούς κήπους. Δρόμοι με τέτοιες ονομασίες μαρτυρούν την παλαιότερη αγροτική ή ημιαγροτική μορφή της περιοχής, πριν από την αστικοποίησή της, όταν χαρακτηριστικά στοιχεία του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος χρησιμοποιούνταν για τον προσανατολισμό και την ονοματοδοσία.

AGRABELI
The name Agrabelis derives from the folk name of the plant agrioklima (wild clematis), which once grew abundantly in the Greek countryside. It is a climbing plant commonly found in fields, along fences, and in old gardens. Streets bearing such names reflect the earlier rural or semi-rural character of the area, before urbanization, when distinctive elements of the natural environment were used for orientation and place-naming. Agrabelis Street thus preserves a small memory of the local flora and of the close relationship between residents and the natural landscape.
