ΠΑΝΑΓΙΑ ΦΑΝΕΡΩΜΕΝΗ
Η Παναγία Φανερωμένη είναι τίτλος της Θεοτόκου στην Ορθόδοξη παράδοση, συνδεδεμένος με εικόνες και εκκλησίες που θεωρούνται ότι φανερώθηκαν θαυματουργικά στους πιστούς. Ένα γνωστό παράδειγμα είναι η Μονή Φανερωμένης στη Λευκάδα, όπου, σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, η ιερή εικόνα βρέθηκε μετά από θαυματουργική φανέρωση σε μοναχό, δίνοντας το όνομα και την ιδιαίτερη σημασία στο μοναστήρι και προσελκύοντας προσκυνητές εδώ και αιώνες. Ναοί και προσκυνήματα αφιερωμένα στην Παναγία Φανερωμένη βρίσκονται σε όλη την Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο, συνδεόμενα με τοπική ευλάβεια και την πίστη ότι οι εικόνες έχουν θαυματουργική ή φανερωτική προέλευση. Σήμερα, το όνομα Παναγία Φανερωμένη παραπέμπει σε ευλάβεια και πολιτιστική κληρονομιά, με εικόνες τιμώμενες σε λιτανείες, λειτουργίες και προσκυνήματα σε πολλές κοινότητες.

PANAGIA FANEROMENI (THE REVEALED VIRGIN MARY)
Panagia Faneromeni (“the Revealed Virgin Mary”) is a title of the Theotokos in the Orthodox tradition, associated with icons and churches believed to have miraculously appeared to the faithful. A well-known example is the Monastery of Faneromeni in Lefkada, where, according to tradition, the holy icon was discovered after a miraculous revelation to a monk, giving the monastery its name and special significance, and attracting pilgrims for centuries. Churches and pilgrimage sites dedicated to Panagia Faneromeni can be found throughout Greece and Cyprus, linked to local devotion and the belief that the icons have a miraculous or revelatory origin. Today, the name Panagia Faneromeni evokes both religious reverence and cultural heritage, with icons venerated in processions, liturgies, and pilgrimages across many communities.
